Nice little seafood spot that is very foreigner-friendly. Loved the fish carpaccio with pesto. Has good energy but a little too touristed / filled with Westerners to feel like a discovery even though the location is tucked away in Shinsen.Recommended for:Local Culture

So far, the best restaurant I been in Tokyo!! Kaikaya (by the sea) is known for their traditional dishes of fresh seafood and their creative mix.
Located in Shibuya, can be a bit difficulty to find it (I lived in the area, so that's why I know well). It's a really small "izakaya", so I recommend to make a reservation. The people are so friendly, they have a english menu.
I recommend "SENGYO no CARPACCIO", "YAKI TARABA-GANI KOUSOU-fu", "EBI no Ebiniyoru EBI-SOUSU" and "MAGURO no KAMA no SUPEARIBU". Everything I tried it was so good!!!! You should go there.
