A market of fabrics, snacks, shoes and sundries during the day, at night this sea of covered Jongno-area stalls transforms into one of the city of Seoul's finest no-frills eateries, selling pajeon (green onion pancake), sundae (blood sausage) and so much else to everyone from construction workers to bankers. It's as authentic as it comes, cheap, and oh so tasty. Five stars.

Gwangjang Market is a large, traditional market at Jongno-5-ga Station. The coolest part about it is all the food vendors. There's a section of the market for kalguksu (fresh cut noodle soup), raw fish, bindaetteok (mung bean pancake), and sundae (blood sausage). Very good place to come for lunch!
