11th Avenue Hotel and Hostel (Formerly Hostel of the Rockies)

1112 Broadway, Denver, CO 80203
3 reviews

This hostel in the hipster haven of South Broadway is clean, organized and has the friendliest of staff working at the front desk. It has been a hotel/hostel since the ‘30s and has been owned by the same family the entire time. It’s clear why it has been around so long -- they take real pride in what they do. ...

This is the first place we went to right off the airplane and the last place we went before we left Denver! For vegans, it's heaven, but totally a place you can bring your omnivorous friends too. The dishes reminded me a lot of the "vegan comfort food" vibe of Portland, OR, but with so many options! Almost everything is ...

My parents lived next to one of the owners before he died of cancer. Probably the best of the three restaurants : racine's, goodfriend's and dixon's which are owned by the same partners.

One of the oldest restaurants in Denver, rife with history. Out of town travelers love it. It's been on just about every Food Network show possible. Food is OK to solid, but you go for the ambiance and the history! Need a reservation.

Chef Frank Bonanno ladles up nontraditional—and superbly rich—bowls of ramen at Denver’s Bones. Depending on the time of year, diners can slurp up Duck Ramen (pastrami-cured duck confit, watercress, pickled veg) or Lobster Ramen, where thick chunks of poached claw meat swim with edamame and beurre blanc in a miso broth. By popular demand, a Green Chili Tsukemen (roasted chiles, ...

Row 14 Bistro & Wine Bar

0.85 mi from 11th Avenue Hotel and Hostel (Formerly Hostel of the Rockies)
    3 reviews

Row 14 is a wine bar across from the convention center that serves seasonal American food with a few Asian touches. The local, organic food is excellently prepared, though a bit heavy on the presentation. The wine list is small, but it is well thought out and pairs nicely with the food. A great dinner option in Denver.

Great breakfast, diner atmosphere. They have good food with big portions for the price you pay. I would recommend you always get the house fries. It's a 'sort of' scalloped potato. Highly recommend the burger, chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak.

Even still the best Sunday brunch in Denver. Classic old railway hotel with early 20th century charm. Brunch includes breakfast, carving station, seafood, pasta bar, and chocolate fountain with dessert bar. There is a choice of champagne and sparkling wine and you can see the wine list, but it's equally good dry.

Not too bad of a place, they have a long wait for a solid breakfast. Had the sausage and eggs here which was nothing too interesting to write home about. Bonus points for their Sriracha on the table and their awesome espresso bar. Minus a point for all the haters who didn't appreciate the fab headwear! Duh!

I eat here at least once every time I pass through Denver. All vegetarian and healthy without tasting like it! Generous portions. Love their sandwiches, coffee, kombucha... personally wouldn't recommend the eggs bennedict, though my friend said it was better when he got it :/

We dined here recently with some friends. The food was excellent. I had a butternut squash-apple soup that was outstanding! The cuisine is farm-to-table with locally sourced ingredients when available. No reservations taken and crowded tables, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars.

Was my favorite restaurant in Denver as a kid. Amazing prime rib in a publike atmosphere. Seems a bit touristy now, but the food is still outstanding. Not to be missed, especially as it's in the ground floor of the Brown Palace.

Small and intimate with a creative menu, Olivéa is one of my favorite places in Denver to celebrate special occasions. The menu changes according to the season, so check the website to see what they're serving. But you'll have a hard time making the wrong choice - everything that I have had was superb.

I saw so many stickers that people loved them on different review sites, but after eating here, I've come to conclusion that it's outdated. I had the four corners turkey and added avocado on a recommendation form the server as she sounded really excited about it and was pretty disappointed. It wasn't as good as I would have hoped and ...
