Expect nothing but perfection. Fish and meat are the specialties here, you can go for either, or both. The wine menu is very complete and the restaurant is adorned with a HUGE fig tree in the middle of the eating room. On saturdays, the have the famous Brazilian feijoada. If you're on a diet, don't even come close to the dessert table, where you can serve yourself paying a fixed price.Recommended for:

With a century old tree as the centerpiece of this gorgeous restaurant, this somewhat pricey restaurant is not to be missed! Frequented by businessmen during the week, Figueira was surprisingly filled with a very decent crowd for the weekend too. Gardens and open air restaurants aren't that plentiful in Sao Paulo so the chance to eat under the beautiful sky was a great treat. Well trained waiters will give you an English menu if you ask for one -- and they will continue to pamper you from beginning to end of your meal.
