Located in Psiri next to The Monastiraki metro station, the hotel offers a super view of the Acropolis from the very popular and trendy cafe / bar /restaurant on the 6th floor which extends to the roof also. Hands down the best unobstructed view from any hotel ever! Why? Because as I sit up in the room’s huge and very comfortable bed, it faces directly towards Monastiraki square and the Acropolis. It’s like the picture window is a huge painting. Fabulous!, It’s location is just across the street from Monastiraki square and flea market, Ermou street has Antiques and clothing shops, Thanasis Gyro restaurant is a quick and easy bite across the street also, Plaka is just after that, ancient ruins everywhere around the Thesion area a few minutes away. It’s central to all tourist and local hang outs like Gazi with a simple, modern and clean comforts.

A tiny bit pricier than I'd normally pay, but it turned out to be worth it for all the reasons we needed: completely easy to get to (we were meeting people), as it's right across the square from the Monastiraki metro stop; fairly big rooms (our friends had kids); and comfy (we were coming off a terrible series of flights). Really generous breakfast is served on the roof, which has an amazing view of the Acropolis (oh, that old thing...). That same roof hosts a bar at night, which I would say is the one drawback--the lobby was jammed with party people, and there's only one tiny elevator. As a hotel guest, you can skip the elevator line, but still it's a bit to navigate. But for a very easy couple of nights in Athens, I would recommend this hotel heartily.

This is an interesting place because it is a hotel but set up like apartments.
Very clean and modern with an amazing staff.
The location though is the best thing about this hotel.
It is on a side street right off of Monastiraki Sq and faces the Acropolis.
The metro is 100 yards away from the entrance.
It also has the distinction of having the Best Bar in Athens.
It is a rooftop bar that faces the ruins and is spectacular!
The drinks are good but the people watching is even better!

This hotel’s trendy Psiri location would appeal to many. Having heard about the rooftop bar, I expected it to be posh, but it was small, crowded, noisy and smoky - it's a bit better at night on the upper level when it's cool enough to enjoy it. It’s conveniently located close to the Acropolis, Ermou Street and Plaka, with plenty of stores, shops and restaurants to enjoy. Around the corner is Athinas Street, a more local shopping district, where you’ll find the huge meat and fish markets and spice stalls. For me, the unrivaled reason to stay here is the view – if you get a room on the Acropolis side of the hotel, you have an amazing view of Monastiraki square, with all its activity and the Acropolis overseeing it all – fabulous!
