First time i went i didnt like it, I got $6 popcorn and a plate of pickles. My fault. I gave this place a second chance, and it was amazing. The double cheeseburger may sound boring but it was one of the BEST burgers i've ever had in LA. The meat itself was so full of juices and flavor. I really liked the pickled red onions and i dont even like red onions. So far besides the popcorn I have enjoyed pretty much everything i've ordered. Also being within walking distance sure helps.Recommended for:

Eating here is a fun and unique experience. Some of the flavor combinations they use are just out of this world! I love the kitchen fries and the chu-don't-know-mang. OMG you've gotta try it.
Food is served on fun little plates and seating is picnic-style, so you might find yourself sharing with your neighbors if you're open to it. This is the kind of food you're meant to eat with your fingers and have fun with, much like at a picnic or casual gathering.

This was a really neat little restaurant. I had lunch here a few times when I lived in LA cause I worked right across the street. They seem to do a fusion of classic American cuisine and Korean/Asian cuisine (i.e.-hoisin-chili glazed baby back ribs). I reallllyyyy liked the Cracklin' Beer Can Chicken with a Dyn-O-Mite on the side (essentially, a duchess potato).

A-Frame is Kogi/Chego-founder Roy Choi's newest restaurant. It is, in my opinion, the worst of the three projects. Perhaps because it's far more expensive and not very comfortable, or perhaps because the food just isn't as good...However compared to non-Choi restaurants, its very good! Go for the beercan chicken (half is plenty), the kitchen fries and the Banana Bacon Cream Pie (seriously, do it, its fing amazing)
