A high end street for shopping in Venice. Take La Cienega or Fairfax south to Venice Blvd., make a right turn and go west toward the ocean. You will intersect Abbot Kinney. And you can park on Venice because parking is very difficult. A lovely area to walk around. Try Lemonade Restaurant. It's casual. And my hair stylist, Marylle, has her shop there, The Harlot. And she is outstanding. But she herself is not cheap. But the shop is also open on Sundays.

Abbot Kinney Blvd. is pretty much the opposite of the boardwalk. It's very trendy with lots of cool shops and restaurants to check out. This is the kind of street where it's best to just take a leisurely walk and explore on your own.Recommended for:Trendsters

My friend, Joa, took me to her favorite place in LA which happens to be Abbot Kinney Blvd. There are a row of eclectic shops, restaurants, and sights that you will not encounter elsewhere in LA. They are all locally sourced and that's the beauty of a street like this. You're never going to find anything else like it. Come and really enjoy the hidden gems that reside on Abbot Kinney.

Venice's take on an upcale shopping and dining district. Get away from the chaos on the Boardwalk and enjoy the best of West LA's shops, restaurants and night time establishments!

There are tons of boutique shops, galleries, and restaurants here. This is a popular place to be on Friday night. However, on every 1st Friday of the month, Abbot Kinney gets even more packed with people because more than 20 food trucks line the street. I would highly recommend trying out the food trucks (a must in LA) then so you have tons of choices all at one place.
