Aberdeen Lodge

53-55 Park Avenue, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, Ireland
3 reviews

This hotel has a lovely, relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The building itself is actually a large house in one of Dublin’s more prestigious inner suburbs and the owners live in the house with their kid. As you might expect, the bedrooms are more homey and less hotel-y than in a purpose-built hotel. There’s a fairly large garden at the back of ...

    Roly's Bistro

    0.86 mi from Aberdeen Lodge
    1 review

A short walk from the apartment, down Anglesea road, Roly's Bistro in Ballsbridge is now Roly's Cafe and Bakery, and Roly's resataurant. The Cafe does breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is a cheaper option than the less casual Restaurant for dinner. The food comes in for much praise on many websites and I can personally vouch for their delicious lunches ...

Great fare and even nicer since they extended to add more seats! Fantastic menu which constantly evolves. The best vegetarian restaurant in a city that definitely hasn't enough options. I tend to avoid it at lunchtime and go off peak.

    Bewley's Grafton Street

    2.27 mi from Aberdeen Lodge
    8 reviews

A Dublin institution, Bewley's is the perfect place to spend a few hours people watching from the upstairs balcony and windows, and observing the hours go by over a cup or pot of good coffee and a slice of cake. Always popular, always busy with tourists and local folk alike it's easy to see why it can be hard to ...

    Gallaghers Boxty House

    2.49 mi from Aberdeen Lodge
    3 reviews

Located right on the main street in Temple Bar, it's surprising to me how few people actually go into Gallagher's. They have the very best (in my opinion) boxty meal in all of Dublin. Hankering for some meat n' potatoes? Gallagher's will fix you up on the cheap. Come hungry; the portions are big.
