I would never have guessed you could get such good food at a museum cafeteria. They have cuisines from around the world - from delicious Vietnamese Pho to Cajun Gumbo. Mexican, pasta, salads. Definitely a great place to grab a bite when visiting the Academy of Sciences.Recommended for:

located in the academy of sciences, i found this to be pretty good cafeteria style food. the prices are high, but what you usually see in museum type places. they have everything from vietnamese/chinese food to mexican to american, etc. the ribs and fried chicken were tasty. the soup selection was good. they were making spring rolls at the time which were good with fresh tasting peanut sauce. the cookies were awesome. if you can stomach the prices, worth checking out for a quick bite rather than leaving the park looking for lunch.

The food here at the Academy of Science's little cafe is actually quite decent. The selection is great. They have various food stations offering different cuisines. You can find Chinese steamed buns, Korean BBQ, Hawaiian rice plates as well as American Sandwiches, Italian Pasta and Mexican Tacos. The menu selection also includes a good amount of healthier alternatives and vegan/vegetarian choices. It won't be too difficult to find something to your liking no matter what your food preferences are.
Food is hit and miss. While the Vietnamese spring rolls and the Ahi Tuna Poke were freshly made and fairly likable, the Saimen has undercooked egg noodles and tasteless toppings. Food weren't cheap but the quality is better than most museum cafeteria. They also have good selection bottled drinks and desserts from local brands. Make sure you pick up a gelato bar before checking out at the cashier. Everything from Bar Gelato are excellent.Recommended for:
