This is an amazing sight, and a must-see in Acapulco. These professional high-cliff divers (generational) train and climb very steep cliffs before plunging to the rocky ocean underneath. The depth of water in the "Gulch" can vary from 6 to 16 feet depending on the waves, with an average depth of 12 feet. Timing is crucial for the divers. There is a small prayer house at the top where the divers pray before each dive. So dangerous, but made to look effortless!

These guys are fun to watch - maybe I should try it, not. You really have to see them perform to get an idea of what it takes to dive off of these cliffs and not kill yourself. Make sure you give them some money.
