Acitrezza is a pretty fishing village north of Catania, Sicily. It's a popular weekend and summer getaway spot for Catania. I enjoyed a walk as dusk under a purple sky as the streets and square were full of kids playing soccer and older folks sitting and chatting. It's know for the Cyclops Rocks, huge off shore lava rocks said to be thrown at Ulysses by the enraged Polyphemus, as described in Homer's Odyssey.
