This hotel belongs to the Açores group of hotels, and has the privilege of being the only hotel the company runs on the European mainland. The rest of the properties are located in the beautiful Açores Islands, which are also a part of Portugal, out in the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel is literally only a few seconds away from the Praça de Espanha metro stop, so you can be downtown in a manner of minutes. If you’ve brought the kids along with you, you can head away from downtown and visit Lisbon’s zoo. The hotel has a large restaurant on the ground floor that serves dishes from the Açores Islands, as well as other kinds of fare. This establishment has an underground parking garage as well, which can accommodate about 40 cars, which will come in handy if you drive into the city. The rooms are fairly spacious, and offer a good value for being so close to the city center, the zoo, plus many other tourists attractions and business areas.

Hotel Acores is located just outside central Lisboa, but there is a metro station located immediately to the left of the hotel that makes reaching central Lisboa much more accessible. Not being located in the center also keeps the prices about 30 Euros cheaper than an equivalent standard hotel in the center. The hotel is not trying to be something it’s not; rather it is a cheaper alternative to central hotels with clean, simple rooms. The rooms are carpeted with firm beds and the bathrooms consist of wood floors and tile walls. The hotel does not have any special facilities like a gym or spa and the hotel restaurant is also basic and is there just for the sake of having one in the hotel.
Dining options at Hotel Acores Lisboa include a restaurant and a bar/lounge. Room service is available during limited hours. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. This 4.0 star property has a business center and offers small meeting rooms
