    Table Mountain Cafe

    3
    7 reviews

Visited the cafe on a very foggy and ill-advised trip to the top of Table Mountain. The cafe, is of course, a little over priced due to its location but not ridiculously so. I was certainly relieved to receive a piping hot chocolate and slice of cake on that cold winter's day!

My go-to spot when I want to feel like a queen. Everything from the food, wine, service, setting, decor is phenomenal. I have not been there since David Higgs' departure, but will be visiting again soon.

    The Grand Camps Bay

    4
    2 reviews

16/20; Food 8/10, Ambience 4/5, Service 4/5. Great spot on the beachfront in Camps Bay, with a nice deep terrace offering the best seats from which to watch the world go by as you enjoy a simple but well cooked selection of seafood, salads and other bistro-style fare. The most upmarket restaurant on Victoria Road, which forms the seafront parade ...

    Good African Coffee (Lugogo)

    3.5
    2 reviews

This is a frequent gathering place for foreigners and locals alike. Decent espresso (and I am a severe coffee snob) and better than average food for a reasonable price. Much more reasonable and better than Simba in the same complex. They have some local and international food. Also desserts are pretty good. I like their fruit salad, which is all ...

    Tamambo Karen Blixen Coffee House

    5
    1 review

The menu is now a fusion of the popular Tamarind and Tamambo dishes giving Karen residents a chance to sample the delicious Tamarind signature seafood. Diners have a fine choice of different areas for lunch or dinner. There is the cosy and redecorated indoor restaurant with adjacent outdoor terrace and garden, also being remodeled, for a la carte dining.

    Le Rustique Restaurant

Outdoor garden seating, friendly service and great food. The service is a bit slow, but given the ambiance, that is not really an issue. The portions are huge, the salads are crisp, and it is definitely the place to go if you are craving a crepe.

The Restaurant at the Rainforest is conveniently situated at the entrance to the Victoria Falls National Park. After the long, yet awe inspiring walk along the edge of the magnificent Victoria Falls, visitors welcome the opportunity to sit and relax amongst the natural beauty of the Rainforest and escape the sun in a shady thatched restaurant. Whether enjoying a delicious ...

This spot is not to be missed, and really one could go every night of the week and have a great time. The food is tasty, check out their steak for sure, and there are plenty of bars and outdoor seating in the back for music and a little crowd or in the front for an intimate conversation. Definitely check ...

    Alibaba restaurant

    1 review

This was the best eatery I experienced in Egypt. It is next to the Alibaba hotel and the restaurant is built into a huge colourful tent. The sight while eating is soooo relaxing because the tables are next to the Red Sea. Of course added to this is that fact that food is great! We had a choice of food ...

    The Bridge Café

The Bridge Café is the only restaurant in either Zimbabwe or Zambia from where the face of the Victoria Falls is visible. Built on a platform over the Batoka Gorge, The Bridge Café provides the best views around, is situated on an historic bridge and provides a thrilling lookout to watch all the action whether participating in a bridge activity ...

20/20; Food 10/10, Ambience 5/5, Service 5/5. BOMBASTIC! Set in the divine and picturesque Cellars-Hohenort Hotel in leafy upscale suburb Constantia. Quiet, cleanly designed room adjoining rooms where one can have the pleasure of eating some absolutely divine food. It is of the experimental fusion-y kind, so one has to like that, but if you do, it is a stunning ...

    Livingston

    1 review

This is another hip hang out spot in Stone Town. It is a great place for sun downers, but also a luxurious dinner, and evening drinks. There is a bar inside for being social, or take a table outside right on the beach, and feel the sand run through your feet.

    Rite Pub & Grill

    2 reviews

A seedy little bar, offered limited burgers and grilled items. Did not seem like a good place to grab a bite to eat. It may, however, be a fine place for some beers at night. During the day there were just a couple stray having a beer for lunch.

    Baia Seafood Restaurant

    1 review

16/20; Food 8/10, Ambience 4/5, Service 4/5. With a table on their large terrace you will have a view over Cape Town harbour with Table Mountain in the background. Great setting in the otherwise overly touristy V&A shopping mall. Seafood, and in particular the shellfish, and furthermore in particular the delicious langoustines are the reason to go here. Generous portions, ...

    The Lawns

    4
    1 review

Something a little different on the market. A tasteful ambiance, with sweeping lawns, connecting tables, with the main restaurant area, which is elevated for a view of it all. The menu runs deep, sering everything from crocodile and impala, to pasta and Nile perch. On the higher end of the price scale, but worth the treat to yourself.
