Park Station is home base for the region's bus, train and subway systems. During the apartheid era the rail system especially was used to block movement for the non white population. Today there is a concerted attempt to remove the impediments posed by the rail system.

An easy introduction to Cape Town. The airport is spacious and modern, but since it handles mostly regional flights, navigation is a breeze. The arrival and departure views of Table Mountain are a nice bonus to flying into or out of this airport.
