    Even if you're not planning on parting ways with any of your Rand, this place is worth checking out. They have some really interesting stuff inside.

    Tacky, expensive and self-conscious. Very little to recommend it. Try the red and blue barns instead.

    African Trading Port is in the Waterfront so you can pretty much assume it will be more expensive than a market. Having said that, it's 3 floors of every African goodie you could imagine and quality items at that.

    If you are looking for pieces of art or furniture for your home, it's possible it'll be hiding somewhere among all the other treasures. If you aren't looking for anything at all, just browse around and pretend it's a hands on museum.

Description

One of the Waterfront’s most interesting and eclectic stores is located in the Old Port Captain’s Building. In this museum of a shop, you’ll discover treasures from throughout Africa ranging from small trinkets to enormous masks, expensive jewelry or African cloth.
