For some odd reason, Perugia has almost no good restaurants. Seriously, it's weird. I've eaten at over two dozen restaurants in Perugia and could recommend maybe three or four. But that's okay, because I love me some Al Mangiar Bene. In the requisite underground lair/medieval brick subterranean edifice, the hippie organic restaurant uses ingredients from some of the best farms in Umbria -- Torre Colombaia's wheat flour, etc. The pasta's great, but be sure to get at least one pizza.Recommended for:
