The biggest attraction on the island is the Asklepion, an ancient temple complex located about 2 miles from the port. In antiquity the Asklepion was a temple devoted to healing. In the Greek Islands it's quite sunny and can be unbearably hot in the summer. I was here in March and was very comfortable. I would say between March and June is pretty ideal.
