The falafel sandwich was huge and delicious! And on lavash, which I love. Good value for what you get. However, my boyfriend got some sort of round phyllo and sesame covered ball and it was not good at all. Get the falafel, but I can't vouch for anything else.

This no-frills Mediterranean joint is a welcome respite from the neighborhood's overwhelming Mexican food presence. Huge flatbreads are slathered with fresh, crispy falafels, hummus, a cucumber-tomato tahini spread, spicy sauce, roasted eggplant and French fries. All grilled before you, and wrapped up in foil so you can take it with you to enjoy in Dolores Park (though if the "cave" is open, eating there is a must--walk around inside the place and you'll find it!).
