I love this place. It has quiet nooks for talking, karaoke for singing, decent food for a bar, mostly steam table, but I liked what I tasted.
The staff was cool, the drinks tropical, and I have to admit a weakness for tiki bars. Portland, and the world in general, have a lot of great dive bars, but this isn't a dive bar, this place is special.
I loved it, and look forward to returning when I am in Portland.

A grand tiki lounge and restaurant that's a wonderful throwback from the 60's Polynesian craze. Not many of these are still around and thriving, so if you've never been to a tiki bar, this is a fine place to start.
Strong drinks, crazy over the top island decor, and karaoke. There is food too, which is hit or miss. But the place itself is a landmark of a almost-forgotten slice of Americana.
