After a great Maui day, this is a casual place that you can go with sand on your feet and have simple but great local food. The mixed plate name comes from all the workers in Hawaii from different countries that shared food at lunch time. They have great Mai Tai's and the best coconut shrimp around.

One of my favorite places to eat on Maui. Good local food, good drinks, decent prices and awesome setting. I recommend this place to many visitors! Never disappointed here. Go at sunset to enjoy the views!Recommended for:

Perfect place to enjoy one of Hawaii's favorite lunchtime favorites...the mixed plate. Modestly priced, shaded outdoor seeding and a nice view of the boats in Mala Harbor make this a perfect place to unwind after your morning's activities. Perfect for families.Recommended for:

Aloha Mixed Plate is a favorite as the food was local, fresh, casual dining, and a good deal. It was called the “paper plate meal with the million dollar view”. It took us about 20 minutes to walk there from where we parked. It would have been easier to drive but then it would have been harder to find a parking spot back at the main area. So we got to the restaurant and I can see why it’s popular. The restaurant is casual and situated right next to the Luau. But it’s basically outdoor seating and the view of the ocean is just right there. Ahhh, if only it didn’t rain, the water looked a bit murky. But it was soo awesome, sitting outside and the ocean just there in front of you. We all shared the Coconut Prawns, it was soo good. I ordered the signature dish, Aloha Mixed Plate, entree of mahi fish, grilled beef, and teriyaki chicken with rice and pasta salad (Hawaiian side). Mmm, it was soo good. After dinner we stayed for happy hour and ordered Mai Tai.Recommended for:

Best cheap eats in Lahaina! Head over for happy hour and get $3 mai tais and $1.75 draft beers. Mini mixed plates are around $4 and large plates are around $7. The mahi mahi and shoyu chicken are delicious. Don't forget to try their famous coconut prawns. Great outdoor eating area. No alcoholic beverages on the lanai next to the water though.Recommended for:

This was our go-to place during our week in Maui. We must have stopped here for at least three meals during the week. They have everything from loco moco (pulled pork) to Korean short ribs to coconut battered prawns. Everything was good. I would highly recommend the french fries with furikaki (Japanese seaweed seasoning), the coconut battered prawns, and the pineapple bread pudding (it's more like a fruit cake texture rather than what we know as bread pudding). All entrees come with two scoops of rice and their signature macaroni salad. Each dish is served on a paper plate and they give you plastic utensils, so it's a really chill place where you can sit outside and enjoy the sun and breeze. The staff is very friendly and patient. They're always willing to give good recommendations to the tourists. However, this is also a favorite stop for the locals, from what I hear.

There are some plenty of places to eat in Lahaina, however this is the only place we eat at in Lahaina! We usually visit here 3 -5 times each time we visit Maui. You can't go wrong with any of the mixed plates. Prices are great considering the mountain of food they bring to your table. Behind the Cannery Mall next door to the Old Lahaina Luau.
