Really fantastic food, drinks, atmosphere and view on the ocean. And only a 5 minute walk from our condo! (Unless it's for lunch, definitely recommend making reservations online a day ahead of time or even that morning).

'Ama 'Ama is the fine dining open air Contemporary Island restaurant at the Aulani Disney Resort. Although we didn't have reservations for dinner, we were fortunate enough to be there right when someone called in with a cancellation. Otherwise we would have had to wait 2 hours.
The setting is lovely, and while you can't quite see the sunset because of the direction it's facing, you still get a gorgeous view of the ocean. There were ukulele players performing while we dined, which was a nice touch.
I really enjoyed the chicken entree I ordered, as well as the chopped salad and chocolate dessert. Definitely a place to go for a splurge meal with someone special!

Food is delicious but REALLY expensive. Great view of the sunset so plan your reservation accordingly! The staff is attentive, plus they allow you time to relax and enjoy the view between courses. I had the mushroom tart appetizer, which was AMAZING, and the monchung entree. The cold/flu tea is good - just the ticket if you're sick.
