Situated on the canal, you can get a view of parts of Bangkok that still have some greenery around it. Urban jungle springs to mind. There is also a Jacuzzi available and a beautiful pool surrounded by small gardens on top. The poolside bar goes for more substantial fare like pizzas and other snacky things. I don’t know why but I think a pool and pizza is a nice combination! The gym offers yoga, aerobics and yes even zumba classes! There is a spa and massage too, near the pools entrance. A plus of staying in this place is that there is a free shuttle bus to the Makkasan airport link station. All in all it’s a nice, quiet place to stay and feels like the kind of place that would accommodate families well.Recommended for:

That's a pretty cheap price and a very good view from a building with completely forgettable architecture and interior design. I literally can't remember a single detail about the rooms until I look at the photo I took. There was a view from the pool, I remember that. And from the other side of the building we could see the people hovering under blue tarps in the river taxis just as we had on our way to the hotel. It kind of feels like a convention hotel, but it's pretty cheap, and it has that view and a pool. When we were there there was construction in the are echoing up, but I think there's a lot of construction in Bangkok and it cuts out long before bed time.Recommended for:

I really loved this hotel , even though you have a lot of ugly buildings around it, the hotel itself was immaculate, and the staff helpful friendly, food in hotel was fantastic , and the price was very good for five day stay it was about $250 all up value for money loved it.

I spent 2-3 days @ the Amari Atrium back in '04 during my one month honeymoon visit to TL.
The Amari was a well located, posh business hotel.
Not much to do with the kids there, but he is centrally located next to major BK attractions (landmarks, shopping centers, etc)
Have fun!Recommended for:
