I loved this place; it's exactly my kind of dream base when traveling. You walk in and wonder whether LA's finest plastic surgeons could pretty this place up. But look a little closer. The building is beautiful: It has a sense of place. You know you are in Amman. The staff will bend over backwards to help you, from welcoming you with tea to arranging airport transfers to guides, tours, whatever. You have everything you need: a central location so you can easily walk anywhere or hail a taxi, breakfast included at the restaurant next door which also comes in handy if you feel like grabbing tea, coffee, dinner or want to order every possible dip to go for a picnic, a pleasant rooftop with a great view of old Amman, latge rooms with high ceilings and big beds and lots of blankets or ac, and most critical--local support. And the price can't be beat.Recommended for:
