Steak, fries and salad. Incredible tarragon sauce for the steak, mayonnaise that's a cut above for the fries (yes, I have been living in Europe for almost 8 years, and I have mayo on my fries. So there, Pulp Fiction.) And to start, fresh, nearly perfect gem lettuce leaves. Other sexy little touches include leaving your bottle of wine on ...Popular withFoodies
One of the very best restaurants in Amsterdam, if not in The Netherlands. Situated in hotel The Dylan, the restaurant combines excellent food (try the chef's signature, dove) with great hospitality! Maitre Casper Westerveld is an excellen host and will make sure you have a memorable evening!!!
Phenomenal steak here! It's a pri fixed menu with the choice of steak or fish, fries and a salad for 22.50 euro. The best part is that they refill your plate once with whatever you want! I've never been to a nice restrauant that refills your main course steak dish! So insane and delicious!!!Popular withFoodiesBusinessFamilies

Optionally, you can leave your coat at the front reception. I suggest not, especially if it's a Burberry. We sat near the window and had a pleasant view of the street ...
Small underground restaurant that does a fabulous 25-euro, 3-course meal. Lots of organic meat and produce on the menu. I choose the beef carpaccio with pesto, rocket salad, roasted pumpkin seeds and parmesan cheese as my starter and practically inhaled it. I chose the lamb stew that had dates, figs and lemon which was fine but not as spectacular as ...Popular withVegetarianFoodies
A small jaunt from the ferry terminal hidden in a residential neighborhood, Jacques Jour is a lovely little restaurant with a set lunch menu on the weekdays and a brunch/lunch a la carte for the weekends. The set menu is a starter and main course for around 17-18 euros. I had a starter of razor claims with a spelt/legume/zucchini salad ...Popular withFoodies
Very trendy new bar in Amsterdam. I just went there for drinks, so cannot really say anything about the food. The wine list is good and pretty affordable for such a trendy and centrally located place. Would definitely go there again, would love to see more of itPopular withLuxuryFoodiesNightlife
