Amsterdam's greatest tourist attraction and oh my goodness the lines! I did not go in beacuse the lines were obscene. I decided to go next door to the "homomonument" a pink triangle in the courtyard of the church next door instead.

    Heineken Experience

Stadhouderskade 78, Amsterdam, NH 1072 AE Netherlands
    4.5
    58 reviews

The Heineken Experience is similar to the Willy Wonka Factory experience but without the Umpa Lumpas and there is no chocolate (or in this case beer) river. However, people can enjoy awesome historical exhibits, Heineken beer facts, a beer tasting lesson, a beer ride, and a lounge for visitors to interact and enjoy a couple free beers. Proost!

From the outside, this building looks like any other house. But if you enter it, you'll find a small, hidden church in the attic. It provides a glimpse into the lives of the people of the 17th century.

As the name says it's a museum about torture practices in ancient times. It was interesting and of course a bit scary, but no must-see.

Fascinating information held in an incredible art deco building that was once a bank. The vaults downstairs are particularly interesting.
