    Anne Frank House

    118 reviews

I can't "like" a museum dedicated to the Shoah, but I can like her bravery and love for life. If you are going make sure you go early, lines often roll around the block once or twice and especially with kids in the summer heat or Amsterdam rain this will not be a great experience.

    Heineken Experience

    58 reviews

The Heineken Experience is similar to the Willy Wonka Factory experience but without the Umpa Lumpas and there is no chocolate (or in this case beer) river. However, people can enjoy awesome historical exhibits, Heineken beer facts, a beer tasting lesson, a beer ride, and a lounge for visitors to interact and enjoy a couple free beers. Proost!

I honestly wasn't expecting much of this museum, but it was actually awesome. It's set up in an extremely interactive way that keeps you intrigued every step of the way. Amsterdam has so much history and this is a great place to learn about it!

As a result of this oppression, Amsterdam ...

    Jewish History Museum

    4 reviews

I have seen many Jewish History museums, this museum is small but it has its own uniqueness. It is near the old Synagogue and it has vast collection of Jewish artists. The second floor they have a nice exhibition about the history of the Jewish people and Israel. A lot of artifacts that tell the story. Really nice!

    Torture Museum

    4 reviews

Whoa! This place was definitely creepy and a fun little quick tour of torture mechanisms used throughout history. Definitely a good place to go for the tourist that doesn't want to see your average everyday stuff.

    Municipal archives Amsterdam

Fascinating information held in an incredible art deco building that was once a bank. The vaults downstairs are particularly interesting.
