Hey Ana, I've usually rented flats in Barcelona, but Julie Sheridan, a blogger and Barcelona expat I know, has some good hotel recommendations here: http://www.gogobot.com/user/julie-sheridan/passport/barcelona?filter=hotels
I'd go with the 1898 or the Ohla for business.
