A spectacular beach! This popular, peppered, gold-sand beach is fringed by a palm grove and back by royal fishponds. The beach fronts the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and slopes gently from shallow to deep water. Excellent swimming, snorkelling, diving and windsurfing.

We love to go to this beach as it is near the Kings shops and Queens shops. Make a beach/shopping day out of it! Nice calm waters with good snorkeling and turtles! Walk along the water on a trail that leads you to the Hilton Hotel. A great place to walk around!

Anaeho'omalu Bay or as everyone calls it A-Bay, is located only 10 minutes from our studio. There is plenty to do here or do nothing at all. Ocean Sports Activities rents kayaks, stand up paddle boards and many other ocean toys. A Bay is surrounded by the Marriott and Hilton Resorts but you can go to the South end and get away from it all if you like. There is also a pretty cool sand-in-the-toes beach bar here called Lava Lava (stick to the beer and wine, drinks are watered down) and pupu's (appetizers are best, entrees are pricey for the quality). We love to go down here and grill our own dinners, a little further South of Lava Lava and we and the turtles are the only ones around. Spectacular spot for sunsets (if you aren't watching them from our studio's outdoor area).
