What's not to love about Anaheim when there's Disneyland here? (Maybe the traffic)

Notable eateries in this city include: The Ranch Restaurant & Saloon (steakhouse), Cortina's Italian Market (amazing pizza), Napa Rose (fine dining), Zait & Zataar (lebanese), Earl of Sandwich, Original Pancake House, Jagerhaus (german), Doner G (turkish), Mas' Islamic Chinese.

It's a mecca of different food cultures!

Honda Center is also a great spot for concerts and events. They also have free events here too, like for Summer of 2014, they're hosting Jurassic Park/Land Before time movie screenings to celebrate Walking with the Dinosaurs show.

Though it plays little sister to its intimidating big sibling LA to the north, Anaheim is the city of delights - home to the Happiest Place on Earth and the Mighty Ducks (whose arena also hosts major music concerts and other performances), as well as a plethora of restaurants, hotels, and attractions for visitors and locals alike. The Anaheim GardenWalk is a fun family activity, while the Medieval Times show is surprisingly well done and a great alternative if you're Disney-ed out. Throw in the Convention Center and the major events it hosts, and it's easy to see why the city sometimes gets gridlocked from the influx of people seeking entertainment.

This place was basically redesigned for tourists.. There is so much to do for this reason. Every kind of restaurant and hotel and who can forget Disneyland? and the people are amazingly nice

Anaheim is a busy city, so many cars, long avenues, and things to do. My favorite being DISNEYLAND! There are many hotels, restaurants, and a lot of public transportation available because of the theme parks in the area, including Amtrak. Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, & California Adventure all within proximity.

Home to Disneyland and Wondercon, and some of the best weather, who doesn't like to visit Anaheim! A great place to visit with the family, there's fun for everyone! And of course, the area is full of delicious restaurants to dine at. Take a trip here!

There's not a whole lot to love about the suburb of Anaheim surrounding the Disneyland Resort. Motels, chain restaurants, shopping malls and more corporate brands than a prime-time TV commercial break dominate the city. If you want a more relaxed, authentic SoCal small town experience, detour to Old Town Orange not too far away for cafes, vintage shops, bars and more atmosphere.

Anaheim is the sunny Californian city of my childhood memories, mostly because Disneyland is here. I absolutely love the place and everything to do with it, and thus endorphins and happy chemicals are released at the very sound of "Anaheim." Huntington Beach is nearby, an interesting place, and LA is a short drive away too, of course.

We go every year right after they decorate for Christmas. It is unbelievable how many decorations they put up for the holidays. We always go the week before Thanksgiving and during the week, minimal crowds.

Disneyland is the basis for all diversion parks after the 60´s.

Description

This Orange County, California city is best known for being the site of Disneyland, and Mickey, Minnie, and Main Street make up its most popular attraction. Major league hockey and baseball are also based in Anaheim, which was founded by 50 German families in 1847 and became an industrial center before earning (perhaps) undying fame as the home of Walt and his theme park.
