    Disney's Grand Californian Hotel

    Disney's Grand Californian Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    18 reviews

An homage to California's arts-and-crafts architectural style, this hotel is the most luxurious option inside the Anaheim's Disneyland Resort. Guests staying here get early access to Disney's California Adventure theme park, a bonus. Kids will love evening storytime by the fantastically huge fireplaces in the lobby, while parents may appreciate the extensive wine list at Napa Rose restaurant (make reservations).

Wow... memories indeed. This is vaguely exactly how I remember from over 20 odd years ago.. it looks as though they gave the old place a fresh coat of colors... though everything looks to be a touch smaller.. and I still get lost when I go around.. but nearly as I remember in every other way. And its a lot ...

There are 3 Disney Hotels in Anaheim and this is the least expensive of the 3. It is really basic accomodations and of course perfect for families. I love that is has a private entrance into the California Adventure Park. If you are on a budget but still want a Disney experience this is a great place.

$99 a night for the queen standard and that is as good as it will get in the OC. I will outline the pros and cons and you can figure out the rest: PROS: - 6 pillows on the bed. Hell yeah. I am a pillow freak. - Clean - Nice and friendly staff - Bed and breakfast option, solid ...

At the end of our family vacation the last stop had to be Disneyland - and what better place to be than less than 400m from the gate. With a slection of family restaruants within walking distance, a shuttle service to the resort and a kitchenette suitable for self catering, there was not a better spot for the end of ...

This hotel has two dining options on its grounds - one being a standard bar and grill and the other being a Morton’s Steakhouse. The bar and grill is a good option for a casual dining experience before either returning to your room or going out to Disneyland after lunch. Morton’s on the other hand is something all people should ...

The room was nice enough....and it's right down the street from the Block. You know...the Block where there's a Krispy Kreme. So there's nothing to worry about when you come back from DnB drunk...it's within spitting distance. I like that I was on the ump-teenth floor...just something about taking an elevator up. Too bad there wasn't much of a view.

I like this hotel chain because they seem like privately owned boutique hotels. Staff at this one is very much on top of things. Love the personal touch of cookies at the check in desk. Nice bedding.

A simple motel that's been a reliable deal for decades, the Candy Cane Inn is within easy walking distance of Disneyland. That way, you can come back in the afternoon to take a nap and have a swim after lunch, then head back to the park after dinner and stay up late to catch the fireworks. It's nothing fancy, but ...

I'm sad to say that I didn't have a great experience at the Sheraton Anaheim Hotel. It is located next to Disneyland so the location is fantastic. They also offer a shuttle to the theme park. I was staying at this location because I was asked to work a booth at the NAMM show (Anaheim Convention Center). The person who ...

Another family-friendly hotel complex (or is it more of a motel? sometimes it's hard to tell...) in Anaheim, just outside the main gates of the Mouse House. What puts this one ahead of the competition is its size, with a big swimming pool and a poolside patio bar with cocktails for the adults. May not be the cheapest lodging in ...

I went to Disneyland yesterday with the family, and we decided to give Storyteller's a try for dinner. I made a reservation here, but they seated me 15 minutes later. What ...

This place is like a resort at hotel prices. The two pools, two spas, nice rooms, and professional service are things I associate with nicer hotels. First impressions are strong at this hotel. The lobby was decorated with brightly-colored contemporary couches. Fresh fruit, a small business center and a flat screen television in the lobby kept waiting kids busy and the front desk agent was courteous and professional. Then everything gets standard. The room itself was pretty common. It was clean and a good size with ...
