Simply Magical. My children and I went in March and I have to say this trip was over all phenomenal unlike any theme park I have been to. Definitely worth its cost

    Disney's California Adventure

    165 reviews

If you are already visiting Disneyland but want to visit a park that's a little more adventurous and grown up, DCA is the place. You can find "wilder" rides here, with a real roller coaster and the free falling Tower or Terror. They also serve alcohol here! It's really an extension of Disneyland, but with all the variety offered here, ...

    Downtown Disney

    109 reviews

This is good to stop by when you in Disneyland, just aware things here are just as pricey as inside the park. Parking isn't free either.

    Disneyland Fireworks

    38 reviews

Music and lighting along with the fireworks in the park make for a fabulous show. If you are out of the park, you can still enjoy the free show for miles and miles. While the noise may not be great for people who lived super close by, you can see this firework show from miles away. Like everything Disney, it's ...

    Pirates of the Caribbean

    21 reviews

This ride is great for those who love pirates or the namesake movies, but it's also a great ride when you need to cool off and relax. Compared to other Disney rides, it's quite long and the boat ride in the (mostly) dark and cool interior can be relaxing after a day or standing in lines and walking in the ...

    Anaheim Convention Center

    23 reviews

large, spacious, great place for events. I staff here for AM2 convention (coming up on its 3rd year) and love the layout. Its big, but not spread out like the LACC and it's across the street from Disneyland and all the associated restaurants and hotels providing easy access for convention goers with alternative dining and entertainment options. The layout is ...

    Star Tours

    15 reviews

This is a classic, but still fantastic ride/simulator. The choreographed movements, visuals and sound make for a great experience. The start of the show/ride is fantastic with the lobby for the Starspeeder 3000, and the screens, videos, etc. like you are boarding the starship. The middle room with the little robot (talking to the crowd), and then into the ride. ...

    Disney's World of Color

    14 reviews

Absolutely spectacular show and worth at least 1/4 of the entrance fee to California Adventures. There are quite a few options to get the fastpass to this show (required for viewing) but we've found that the picnic / 2nd show option is far superior - great viewing section, super short line and cheaper food.

    Jungle Cruise

    15 reviews

This is one of my favorite rides at Disneyland. Not only is the jungle-themed boat ride a refreshing break from the crowds on a hot Orange County day, but the jokes and puns are hilariously cheesy. If you love bad jokes and puns and you get the right "guide," you're in for a real treat.

    Cars Land

As soon as you walk into cars land you begin to feel as if you are on Route 66, and you just stumbled into a little town called Radiator Springs. Very well done!!

    Space Mountain

    13 reviews

So what do you get when you mix an old school rollercoaster inside a darkened building, Space Mountain of course. One of my all time favorite Roller Coasters because you only know what’s coming if you have ridden it enough to memorize the turns. This ride sucks when lit up or when you can see the interior of the building. ...

    Soarin' Over California

    12 reviews

Want to view California from a hangglider's perspective? You'll be lifted into a massive screen, feel the breeze on your face, and smell the orange groves and Redwood trees. It's really, really beautiful, relaxing, and refreshing. The lines can be long, although there is a Fastpass option; if you REALLY don't want to wait, go with the single-rider option. Ask ...

    Cars Land At California Adventure

    10 reviews

Fastpasses for Radiator Springs Racers (the most popular ride) are usually gone within a hour or two of park opening. So unless you want to wait 2 or 3 hours in line get there RIGHT away when California Adventure opens and get your Fastpasses. If you are smart you get your Fastpasses for later and then go on the ride ...

    Haunted Mansion

    9 reviews

This is a MUST. I know I say that a lot, but this ride has stood the test of time and proven that NEW doesn't always equal BETTER. If you come around September through January, there will be a Nightmare Before Christmas overlay; I do enjoy the Haunted Mansion Holiday, although I much prefer the original ride. If you do ...

    Indiana Jones Adventure

    10 reviews

This is one of the more exciting rides at the park. The ride is like living the movie, as you travel through trouble and adventure in a jeep. There are ups and downs and bumps and moments you think the snake/big rock/falling bridge/[insert numerous other scary things here] will get you! The one thing that is most unfortunate about this ...
