Second year attending my work conference at the Anaheim Marriott. Unlike last year, I got to stay there :D
Conference: Well organized and all the staffs were SUPER helpful with everything. They made sure everyone got everything they needed to make the event operate smoothly. Catering was top notch. I love their desserts.
Hotel: Clean and comfortable. I got to stay in a suite with some coworkers and my room was very spacious with a mini kitchen and a mini living room. Everything was clean and the bed i slept in was decent.
The elevator to the garage is kinda old so it worried me at first.
DT Disney is only a mile away. Heard you can take the shuttle there for cheap.
Service: LOVED IT! Their room service is fast and I'm loving the "thank you" goodies they brought up to the room.
Location: convenient for people who are attending a rave event or disneyland
Parking: parking structure or valet
bonus point: they have starbucks insideRecommended for:

Most chain hotels like the Marriott are like mini cities within their walls. This one is no exception; from the multiple restaurants, bars, shops, ballrooms, conference rooms, pool, spa, gym, and bedrooms, you could literally survive the zombie apocalypse here. Luckily in our zombie-free world this isn't necessary, but it's nice to know the potential exists. Here's how to spend a day at the Anaheim Marriott (if you're in town on pleasure): sleep in as late as you want, sunken into the down comforter and surrounded by darkness thanks to the blackout curtains. Rise and go for a swim in the oasis-style pool, with plenty of lounge chairs, palm trees, and shade. Shower back at your room, then head down for a glass of vino at the Degrees Wine Bar (on the patio.) Enjoy a sumptuous sirloin at JW's Steakhouse. Sip another cocktail at Degrees or even another bar. Head back to your room. Watch one of the hundreds of rentable movies. Sleep. Repeat. This, of course, is assuming you aren't in town for a meeting at the Convention Center or Disneyland (both of which are just around the corner), and neglects the in-house FedEx, Pizza Hut, and Starbucks. I told you: zombie apocalypse. You're covered.Recommended for:

I read the reviews before staying here, and was a bit worried. But got to the hotel and was pleasantly surprised.
The room was smaller than some, but well done. They upgraded the rooms this past weekend to the newer one cup coffee machines. And the condition of the room, carpeting, and service was great.
I also had the experience of going to a couple reception halls, and all was great.
Yes, there was a charge for internet and parking. But in the better hotels - isn't there always?

I coordinated my cousin's wedding here and had mixed reviews about the hotel.
As far as lodgings, the experience was pretty average. The rooms did appear smaller than your average Marriott and the bathroom was a bit dated.
I had a challenging time working with the catering and sales staff. We had very specific needs which we discussed in great detail the months leading up to the event. I even provided them with itemized printouts and diagrams, etc. However, the day of, we found that many of our requests were either "forgotten" or never relayed to the staff working that day. We also had many issues with the servers and even the staff captain of the night. Even our vendors had issues working with the hotel.
Very mixed feelings about this hotel. From a planning perspective, I would not host an event here again. However, the Bride and Groom never saw any flaws and had a wonderful time. And in the end, that was what was most important.
