Best restaurant that I ate at in Portland. PROS: - Amazing drinks. No matter what the concoction, they seem to find the perfect balance in each mixed drink. - Peruvian tapas - i love tapas regardless since it makes it easy to share a variety. It's no different at Andina, the food is to die for CONS: - Nada TIP: ...

Super nice staff, large selection of great beers, and a comfy atmosphere- I loved Deschutes! Be sure to order a flight to try a wide variety of beers. Our server, Phil, was so cool and friendly; I had a great time chatting about beers with him. I hope to visit again someday!

You know you're getting authentic pasta when all you were is Italian spoken around you and waitress with heavy Italian accent! I love thick pastas (pappardelle), but they're a little difficult to find for some reason. So, I decided to go for a bowl of pappardelle with bolognese sauce. The meat were surly slow cooked in the sauce for hours ...

With the insane preponderance of New American restaurants in trendy cities such as Portland, it can be difficult for restaurant-goer to sift through the noise and find the gems. Irving Street Kitchen is one of them. It's just one of those eateries that doesn't try to do too much and just does whatever it does well. There aren't a lot ...

This is a fabulous restaurant in the Pearl District which is in the Downtown Corridor and a fun area to walk around. It has a Spanish vibe and the food is extraordinary. I have never had a bad meal there.

World Cup Coffee is a good place to study and drink coffee due to the ambient music and dim lighting. While parking can be a challenge, it's less difficult than parking at Coffee House Northwest.

We go here a lot in the south because of their veggie options, and now they have vegan options and keep growing! Will go here, wherever we are, as long as they're around.

Silk is owned by Pho Van. The pho is good due to its flavorful broth. The decor is upscale and very indochic. However, some of the prices are hard to justify. For example, their shaken beef costs over $20. I think much of this has to do with the fact that it's in the ritzy Pearl District, but still...

After zooming around town and trying out about a half dozen of Portland's famed coffee shops, my favorite rich, creamy cappuccino was from this classy-looking, kind snobby storefront on Alberta St. They use Stumptown beans (at least they did when I was there) but take a lot of time pulling the perfect shot. Worth the wait!
