Cool brewery in downtown la, in the arts district! They brew their own beer here, you can even take tours of the brewing facilities every hour or so (they announce it on the intercom!). Fun games all set out for people to play, and you're welcome to bring food and your dog to hang out indoors! Love the free seltzer ...

    Sushi Gen

0.04 mi from Angel City Brewery
    22 reviews

This is one of the best traditional sushi places in LA, it's also very much like the Apple Store because people will actually line up before they open in order to get in as soon as they open. The yellow tail is the best around and everything else is always solid.

Delicious Mochi! And it's pretty cheap, ice cream Mochi is a buck each and the mochilato (Mochi gelato) is 1.25. They had an adequate amount of flavors to choose from and they also have non ice cream Mochi as well.

    The Pie Hole

0.13 mi from Angel City Brewery

I love the art district in downtown just down the street from Little Tokyo. You don't feel like you are in LA, it almost felt like New York with a lot of converted old buildings and lofts. The only thing that brought me back to the reality of LA was that they were filming a music video a block away. ...

I like everything here but I really love roti buns and dulce latte here. Barista here does nice latte art. They have blueberry, mocha, green tea, sweet potato roti and I believe this is the only place you can get all these different flavors. They do seasonal donuts and pastries too. Like around Halloween, they had peanut butter cup donut ...

They have one of the best authentic Japanese snacks in the area. I never dined there but I love getting their food on a stick when I feel like eating light. Most of their food on a stick costs about $2-$4. Average is $2. They have different kinds of fish cakes, shrimp balls, fried shrimp shumai, takoyaki, dango (rice balls ...

    Chado Tea Room

0.18 mi from Angel City Brewery

Always wanted to tried a place like this.I guess I hyped it up too much for myself. The food wasn't as extravagant as I had imagined. Still had a good time munching on those delicate looking sandwiches and sippin' that tea. Felt real fancy for that morning. The waiter seemed to really know his tea stuff. Recommended an African tea ...

I love gyro/doner/shawarma, so I was looking forward to trying Spitz. I wandered in for lunch last week and ordered the Street Cart Doner wrap, with Mixed Meat. I guess I misread the menu because I thought it came with the fried lavash chips on the side, but they are actually on the inside (not that I could detect them...). ...

    Men Oh Tokuahima Ramen

0.03 mi from Angel City Brewery
    7 reviews

A small ramen shop in downtown LA's Little Tokyo, it might not be as well known as some of the other ramen places in this area, but it's a solid contender. Noodles were curly and had a nice chew, broth was nice and porky. Good chasu, nicely runny yolk cooked egg (although, only half an egg not a full one).

    Honda Ya Japanese Restaurant

Honda Ya is an AWESOME place for a party. I went with a group of 12 and we took over a huge table in the traditional Japanese section, where you have to take off your shoes and sit Indian-style to eat. We were loud and obnoxious, but it was perfect because everybody else in the restaurant was as well. We ...

Frances Bakery is located in the same mall as Gen Sushi. It's a small cafe with very family run feel. Linoleum everything and vintage-y lace décor. We came beckoning for a cronut.
