Although we had to wait 1 hour to get a table, (at any time when you visit Angelina you will have to wait in line, wether for breakfast, or afternoon tea, or late dinner) the wait was worth it after sipping the signature hot-chocolate and devouring yummy dessert. For your information, Coco Chanel visited frequently Angelina's and had her hot-chocolate ...

Chocolate lovers must visit here. There are so many choices and all delicious. The chocolate objects like shoes and the Eiffel Tower are fun to look at but the simple squares are the best value.

Welcome Café, for me, didn't disappoint. Terry was my server and have never, in all my travels to Paris, come across a better waiter than him. No matter how busy he was attentive, friendly and gave excellent service. Knew all the menu items thoroughly. I love their onion soup, etc.

In the 1st. Super old school, happy hour spot for locals. Not touristy. The toilet (hole in the ground) is probably from the 1940s, but it's an experience! Lots of cheap, good wine you can try by the glass. Very French.

Wonderful bistro at the end of an "L" shaped street that meets Rue de Rivoli, Lescure is a very traditional restaurant where the eating quarters are cramped, waiters brash but fun, environment cozy, and the food absolutely delicious! On warm nights, diners may chose to eat outside in front of the restaurant. What a wonderful dining experience here!

The atmosphere at this family-run restaurant is everything. This is a locals spot; I'm pretty sure I was the only tourist (and non-French speaker) there. However, service was warm and friendly. It is located in a very expensive and touristy area of Paris, but this place is none of those things. There is just one daily lunch special (so you ...

Not only does it have an incredible history as the old hangout of figures like Picasso and Hemingway, but the entire experience is memorable. The food was among the best I've had Paris, especially the desserts! Guaranteed to be a meal you won't soon forget.

This is an incredible restaurant. It was founded in 1896, and ever since it has been serving classic French food with very reasonable prices. Appetizers begin from couple of euros while main courses vary between 8-13 euros. The dining room is large and noisy, but very true to its turn of the century style.

If you need to get your fill of parisian shopping at Le Printemps, the Brasserie on the top floor is the perfect place to stop and get lunch or a snack. Sure, you'll find mostly tourists up there, but the place is strangely almost never packed (perhaps few dare to venture all the way to the top of the 7 ...

Laduree Patisserie is a popular chain in Paris that is probably most famous for its macarons. The Laduree on Champs-Elysee is the one to visit, and not just to pick up a few snacks to eat on the go, but to actually sit in its beautiful garden like dining to indulgence in both bistro fare and sweets.

Come here with an appetite (for steak frites) - and early. When I went, the doors opened at 7:00PM. I walked up at 7:04 and there was a line out the door of people waiting to be seated. The only thing you can technically order is your drink. CASH ONLY if I remember correctly.
