You can plan an entire trip to the Caribbean based around reggae star Bankie Banx's restaurant and bar. Imagine giving an island-born reggae musician full reign on building a beach-side bar, and that's the Dune Preserve. A rambling wooden structure open to the warm breeze, Bankie and his sons and friends serve up Anguillian food and drinks, music and conversation.

This is simple the best restaurant for food and beachfront location. It's casual and fun. I have wonderful memories and wonder if the same people from the UK still own it. If they do then get used to some lazy dogs lying around by the beach with colorful scarfs tied around their necks.Popular with

Not surprisingly, fish is a big hit at this colorful restaurant on Anguilla. But it's what surrounds, lies beneath, covers and marinates the fish that makes Tasty's so ... ahem, tasty. My favorite was the coconut-crusted fish with Anguilla's famous banana rum sauce, but plantain salsa, coconut curry and lobster in fresh lemon and butter sauce weren't too bad, either.
