Wowzers! Definitely my favorite of the three An Restaurants! The infamous garlic noodles are to die for! I also tried the oyster shooters and they use pop rocks in it! So good!!!

    Comfy couches!

This restaurant went all bougie with couch seatings at their tables. No joke. I wanted to fall asleep on one of their long chairs. Aside from their chairs, this place had a modern-Asian fusion kind of decor. I digged it.

But let's move on to the food. I came here for OC Restaurant Week and had their 4 course menu. First course was a duet of the TOMBO TUNA POKE WONTON (3/5 stars) and the BEET & PICKLED RADISH MAKI SUSHI (3.5/5 stars). I wish the wonton in the tombo tuna poke was crunchier but I still liked it. As for the Beet and pickled radish maki sushi, it was quite unique with a curry sauce to go with it. For the second course I had the EGG WITH POLENTA AND MUSHROOMS (4/5 stars). I love me some egg any day and this one did not disappoint! Third course was a SOY GLAZED SALMON with noodles (4/5 stars): moist, tasty, and so yummy. Glad it wasn't too salty since it was glazed with soy. Lastly, for dessert I had the LYCHEE PANNA COTTA (4/5 stars). I would have given it five stars if it had more of a lychee punch to it, but let's just say I left the plate empty.

Overall, service was top notch and I enjoyed the food! I want to come back during their happy hour and/or brunch some day!

More of a date place. Just keep thinking it's Asian fusion food and you won't be too critical of the way some of the dishes are prepared.

This "fine" dining of Asian fusion... is a bit pricey.

The only items I think that is well worth to eat is the surf & turf roll, the ahi tuna (that comes looking like a mini taco) and the garlic noodles.

Had the rotisserie chicken.. and it was nothing special.

The restaurant is nice classy looking lounge... kinda dark, so I got sleepy quick.

The staff were friendly and courteous as they always should be.

They have a "lounge" club like on the First Friday's of every month and its pretty cool to come and just hang out.

Don't be fooled by the fact that this restaurant is at the mall (oddly, this seems rather normal in Orange County). AnQi is a swanky noodle-house with a great bar and flavorful dishes.

You'll be greeted by unique decor, ceilings twenty-feet high, and a really interesting layout. Your inner interior decorator will be thrilled. Personally, I love the giant candles. Either way you slice it, the real fusion that happens at this Asian-fusion restaurant is of the senses. The way your surroundings make you feel, combined with the feel-good cuisine equals a really great experience.

    Things not-to-miss:

    1) Absolutely order the pot-sticker appetizer. The plum reduction drizzled on top is tantamount to liquid-crack.
    2) Order at least one order of An's Famous Garlic Noodles for the table. Throw calorie-count to the wind (Real Housewives of Orange County be damned!). The flavor will knock your socks off in a delightful sort of way.
    3) Going on the right night will get you a piano-lounge type feel (owing to the hired piano-man playing in the corner!)

Yes, it's a little pricey (that's why I only gave it 4 stars), but it's Orange County, after all.

Love the Atmosphere in this restaurant. I think that the food keeps getting better and better. Love the Filet Mignon potstickers. Don't miss the garlic noodles, this is a signature dish and very yummy! There is a soy glazed fish (tonight was butterfish) melts in your mouth.
