A GREAT VENUE WITH A DELICIOUS MENU AND NOT A BAD SEAT IN THE HOUSE! THIS IS FAST BECOMING MY GO TO PLACE FOR CONCERTS. I LOVE THAT YOU CAN SIT DOWN, HAVE A GOOD MEAL, AND WATCH AMAZING TALENT IN AN INTIMATE SETTING. PARKING IS VERY ACCESSIBLE AND THAT'S ALWAYS A PLUS!

I had just flown in looking for something new in SD and I found this great venue. Its great to have a new place like this in SD where you walk in and you feel the enormity and ambiance. Its 3 or 4 floors of dining space that surrounds the stage. I feel kind of lucky to have gotten in, but it was a Thursday nite which was awesome because its free live jazz on Thursdays.
The house band of anthology was perfect, I can imagine the house gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays. Started the evening with a glass of lite pinot noir, but the wine list looks great if your drinking by the bottle. Then I had the ahi tartare, fennel crouquette and caviar, which was very nice, mmm!!! I decided to go veggie for my entree because it was the mystery chef's creation. It was great, baby carrots, squash, string beans lightly sauteed with a coucous and a sweet potato almost puree. I know it sounds like a very simple veggie dish, but very nicley done.
Service was a little slow, but I usually expect that at concert venues that serve dinner. The house band was great, especially for a free admission night. I would definitely like to come back and next time its fried chicken!
