We literally don’t even leave this resort. Portofino is in Pensacola, Florida which is known to have one of the finest and whitest sand in the world. Why wouldn't anyone want to check that out. From the 18th floor balcony, every morning, you will wake up to a breath taking ocean view and red orange glowing sunrise. This is really a great place for everyone. People who love to fish, there is a pier that isn’t too far away. For those who love the ocean, the beach is just in walking distance. Portofino has its own private beach which provides umbrellas and chairs or hammocks. For people who like to stay away from the sand, there plenty of pools to pick from. There are two main pools, one is indoor and the other is an outdoor pool. Portofino even has a spa and separate sauna for men and women. There are complimentary water and fruit for you as well! It is the little things in life that make me smile. Many of the condo has three bedrooms, two baths, and a half bath. The space is huge!! For the master bedroom, the closet is practically the size of a room. Each and every one of them is decorated differently. Some are modern while others are classic. After being there for 5 years, I have not been disappointed. Also, each condo provides different games such as scrabble or Pictionary, HDTV’s, and free internet. The beds and pillows are just luxurious and even the bath towels are fluffy and soft and might I add complimentary? :D Activities Besides the pools, each year they have something new for their guest to do. One year they had a viewing party for a movie with a inflatable screen. You can also jet ski or take the boat that they provide to go to the Pensacola Pier where there are gift shops and restaurants. They even have a trolley for you to get you to and fro. My favorite thing I’ve done was rent a bike and biked ride along the coast. The ocean view is just amazing. Every morning I try to wake up early enough to catch the morning sunrise. Advice and helpful hints: This is definitely a great place for a romantic getaway or even a family vacation. However, it is best to bring your pots and pans. You’ll more likely have to cook unless you want to eat at the pier. Other than that I LOVE IT!! If you are looking for a place to relax and chill, (even if you aren’t even a beach person), this is the place to be!

Westin Maui Resort & Spa

Gorgeous Ka'anapali Beach hosts the Westin Maui, a beautiful resort where you can choose between ocean and sea views for your room. Take a ukelele lesson, get a spa treatment or indulge in some water sports. The Westin also has an environmental initiative that lets guest opt out of housekeeping in return for Starpoints or vouchers.

The Kahala Hotel & Resort

5000 Kahala Ave Honolulu, HI 96816
Not a bad place to spot celebrities or hang out with dolphins, two exotic though very different species. A legend in its own right, the Kahala is a hideaway from the bustle of Waikiki and a perfect place to enjoy the gorgeous beach and sample excellent food at one of their five restaurants.

beachfront location in one of Oahu’s most exclusive neighborhoods. The location really does make it feel like a sanctuary—nowhere else on Oahu will you find a luxury hotel away from Waikiki yet close enough to have all the advantages of the city. You can’t go to The Kahala without visiting the resident dolphins in the lagoon fronting the low-rise rooms. Another major draw is the (very expensive—but worth it) Hoku’s restaurant—make a reservation early enough to enjoy the sunset. The hotel also has an elegant full spa. If you want mind-blowing, straight-on ocean views, book a south-facing room in the tower—the highest floor you can get.

super friendly and you can tell there are guests that have been returning to this same resort for many years by the relationships you see between some guests and staff.
