I love this little cafe in north Hollywood! The seating is in the backyard of the building and the food is deliciously healthy. A bit pricey but worth it for the quality.

Aroma Cafe is my absolute favorite place for breakfast and lunch in LA. There's usually a line out the door, but it's worth the wait and moves fairly quickly - and with a clear view of all the cakes and pastries before the cashier, you'll want to take your time.
Aroma has a room for every kind of mood you may be in. If you're looking for a quiet, home-like setting, head to the library to eat your meal. If you want a more lively atmosphere, opt for the covered patio....and if you want to enjoy the sunshine, sit outside in the garden area (heat lamps are available for the chilly nights).
The breakfast here is phenomenal, especially their brioche french toast and Rosemary potatoes. I also love coming here for dessert and cappuccino at night, when they turn on the string of lights that line the patio and garden. Love love love this place.

You know those great kind of places you love to stumble across while on vacation? Well, this is one if those places! It used to be a bookstore and it is in a old house. Each room is unique and the food is amazing! You will not be disappointed!

I LOVE the cake here! Usually they have at least five different kinds of monster layer cake. Perfect with coffee or tea for a meeting or visit with friends. Good salads and sandwiches also. Sometimes you see celebrities who live in the neighborhood. Very crowded on the weekends. Line out the door.

I love Aroma. It's one of my favorite go-to places for lunch and dinner -- it's also great for a snack. Their food menu is relatively big and has a lot of tasty things on it. They also have some obscenely delicious and decadent looking desserts in their dessert cases. Their coffee and tea is good too, of course. Really, any excuse to hang out on their big shady patio is worth it -- this place is a total gem. It's not a hidden gem, though -- the line for brunch & lunch on the weekend is often ridiculous, which is why I've only actually been here for breakfast a very very small handful of times.
