This event has finally put Miami on the map of of the cultural elite. It has started an incredible art community here, and has made it more than a beach-and-mall city. You are likely to see some of the greatest art in the world, as well as bump into a few celebrities. It is a well put together event for people of all ages!

Absolutely amazing. This winter was my first experience with Art Basel and I cant wait to go again. I pretty much stuck to the downtown Miami events (mostly free) like Wynwood Walls, etc. I was obsessed with all of the pop-up galleries and exhibits. The graffiti stuff was definitely my favorite. Cant wait for next year!

Art Basel Miami Beach is the worlds most important and largest contemporary art fair. The fair begins November 30th with a VIP preview. In addition to the main fair there are over a dozen adjunct fairs as well as museum exhibitions, private collection tours and curated exhibitions not to mention the hundreds of parties to entertain the 40,000 art lovers that show up for "The SuperBowl of the Art World"

Art Basel is a huge draw for art fans. In fact, it was too artsy for my taste. When some of the art makes one feel overstimulated, well, it's definitely something I can do without.

However, if you're one who enjoys art overload, you just might enjoy it.
