Aruba has one of the highest visitor return rates of any island in the Caribbean, and its powdery pink sand beaches, turquoise blue waters and gabillions of activities just might have something to do with that. From gambling, gourmet dining and shopping to shipwreck diving, hiking and golfing, Aruba is a glitzy, active destination. Traveling in Aruba is easy, and has become extremely popular with East Coast residents. You can use US dollars, speak English to pretty much anyone, almost all hotels have wifi, and American fast food chains are everywhere (including a Hooters). The island is 19 miles long and five miles at its widest, and the public bus system is an excellent and interactive way for locals and tourists to get around.
