    Marina Bay Sands

    Marina Bay Sands

    Class:
    4.5
    150 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

Granted, plutonomy is disgusting. A place like Marina Bay and its ultraluxury hotel and casino, the Sands, is by its nature a little repellent -- a playground for the ultra-rich. That said, the architecture of this waterfront corner of Singapore is astonishing, and a photographer's dream, with the Sands towers, the helix bridge, and the sharp glass highrises across the ...

    Venetian Macao Resort Hotel

Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

Arguably the best hotel I have ever stayed at hands down. 5 star treatment, free upgrade and a birthday cake waiting at the suite. The Veronica suite was humongous, the bathroom was spacious, the garden was impecably clean and the view was downright gorgeous! Next time you want to pamper yourself, this is definitely the way to go! The staff ...

    Class:

    30 reviews
Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

Absolutely amazing. I will definitely return and recommend everyone who can afford to stay at the beautiful property. At minimum, check out the "Rocks Bar" which is an open-air 360 view of the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing, but rest assured, you won't get wet due to the "wave shield." Beautiful place to view the sunset and an ...

I usually loathe hotels that are way too fancy, but I came here for high tea because it was raining since I was in India during monsoon season. I loved it, the place is beautiful and the service is great. There was even an interview with an actor at the table next to us. And the food was ridiculously fun ...

Easy access from Phukey by ferry, deserted beaches, some decent rock climbing and nice scuba diving (tons of leopard sharks during my week). Koh Phi Phi had everything we could want!

I've always enjoyed staying at the Shangri La. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in Manila and the Chinese restaurant also has got to be best in all of Manila.

    W Bali - Seminyak Retreat & Spa

    Class:
    5
    18 reviews
Excellent! - 91% of guests recommend

The W Bali oozes luxury, chic culture and hipness in every detail. The massive grounds are a world unto itself and the lower levels of the main hotel resemble a nightclub and 24-hour beach party more than they do a traditionally lobby. It's as if the very best of South Beach Miami's beach scene was dropped here on the Balinese ...

When the Grand Hyatt Shanghai was first opened, it was the highest hotel in the world as the building it is located, the JingMao Building, was the tallest building in the world. Very soon this title has been taken by others. The fact that this a first class hotel with a world class view to match does not change. As ...

I call this place the baby Wynn. It's got the "Bellagio" style musical fountain out front ... but not nearly as grand or as spectacular. If you actually stand too close to the edge, you'll get splashed which is sort of weird if you ask me. Of course there's all the gambling that goes on here, but really what is ...

The Intercontinental is by far my favorite place to stay on the Kowloon side. Good location close to Nathan Road and all the TST shopping districts. Rooms are very comfortable and the lounge is the best in HK. Also has very good restaurants with in the hotel. The Steak House here is my favorite place for steak in the city.

W is Taipei’s hippest hotel. Everything about it is hip, the rooms are hip, the atmosphere is hip, the restaurants are hip, there’s no other adjective to describe it. Their bar is always packed, it’s the hardest bar to get reservations for in Taipei. WOOBAR has great atmosphere and drinks, but kind of slow service. Maybe because there were so ...

    The Sukhothai Bangkok

This is the best hotel in Bangkok. Modern, luxurious and very Thai. The Oriental and Peninsula may get the most attention but they fail to escape their chain roots. Though some elements of the hotel are due for a refurbishment (currently in progress or may be complete), the Sukhothai is truly distinctive. Executive Suites are well worth the extra cost. ...

The Fourseasons Hong Kong boasts 2 michelin starred restaurants which makes this hotel at the very least, a culinary destination. The Mandarin Oriental has one of the best pools I've ever seen. It's an infinity edge pool with a view of the city an its parks. The hotel also has one of the best views of the Petronas Twin Towers in the city. The towers are lit up around 7:00 and the view from the 24th-floor lounge is memorable--maybe even ...
