    InterContinental Hong Kong

    InterContinental Hong Kong

    Class:
    16 reviews
Excellent! - 92% of guests recommend

I had always heard about this property and the great views of the harbor. I had also de-prioritized it because I don't like the Kowloon side as much and the hotel itself looks a bit dated on the outside. There is also very stiff competition from other properties and Intercontinental usually doesn't hold muster vs. Four Seasons, Mandarin, and the ...

It can never go wrong here - you can feel the smell of luxury the moment you entered the property. Simply first class. I enjoy having lunch at the pool deck area where you can have a nice view of the Hong Kong harbour. Location wise, for business trip, I still prefer other hotels in Central.

    Venetian Macao Resort Hotel

    Venetian Macao Resort Hotel

    Class:
    49 reviews
Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

Located in the Las Vegas of Asia, the Venetian in Macau (Macao) is similar to the same name hotel/casino in Las Vegas. It has a shopping center with the renaissance themed ceiling and an indoor river with gondolas. As far as the hotel/casino, it is a large property. Though much more relaxed than Las Vegas. You can take a free ...

    Raffles Hotel Singapore

    Raffles Hotel Singapore

    Class:
    42 reviews
Excellent! - 91% of guests recommend

Yes, it's a legend and expensive. But today, although exceedingly comfortable Raffles is testament to the Disney-fication of Singapore's heritage as the island seems resigned to taking its place as the stopover-of-choice for paunchy Europeans and Americans on their way to somewhere else. If paying this prices in Singapore, personally I'd opt for the Fullerton or Mandarin if staying centrally.

A trully beautiful and modern hotel located just by the beach (and next to Potato Head). Can easily spend the whole day in the hotel chilling around, afternoon tea, swim even night drinks at the Woo Bar. If you get an ocean view suit, it's the best view to see the sunset.

    The Landmark Mandarin Oriental

    The Landmark Mandarin Oriental

    Class:
    6 reviews

I've stayed at a lot of luxury hotel and this is one of my favorite. Impeccable style, service, and somehow the rooms are massive despite being in one of the most expensive real estate markets on earth. Better than the Mandarin and a few notches above the Peninsula (sorry)... both of which are excellent.

This little boutique hotel is stunning. Surrounded by rice terraces and equipped with a gorgeous pool and spa, this is a wonderful escape. The amenities here aren't full-on five star, but the surroundings and decor make up for this. A gorgeous property that is worth visiting even if you only pop in for a spa appointment after a day trip ...

No longer the highest hotel in the world but still quite impressive from the very moment you enter the lobby. Rooms are modern with Chinese-influence and have fantastic views. The location is a little inconvenient for tourists but works well if you have business on this side of the river.
