    Matsuhisa - Aspen

    303 E Main St, Aspen, CO 81611
    10 reviews

Amazing sashimi and sushi from the guys who brought you Nobu. Like Nobu, the quality is very good and the prices are high. I would highly recommend the sashimi and nigiri. The rolls we had were pretty average. Pretty subdued atmosphere.

    Hickory House

    730 W Main St, Aspen, CO 81611

What an institution! The BBQ here is just out of the world. I love the sauce. The ambiance still hails back to Aspen's more working class roots. The prices do to! You can get out with a great filling meal for $12.

Cool little coffee shop. Order at the counter. The open face is amazing - poached eggs on bread with peach butter, heirloom tomatoes, bacon and arugula. Good coffee as well.

Jimmy's an American Restaurant & Bar

    205 S Mill St, Aspen, CO 81611
    7 reviews

Just a good old high-end steakhouse and seafood restaurant. High end, but not the most expensive in Aspen, and easier to get a table than some of Aspen's other "premier restaurants. Nothing too creative - just awesome comfort food that is expertly prepared.

AT $10,000 per year membership, it is hard to get into the "boo", but those who have higher end tastes can find most anything they want and some interesting characters at this establishment.

    Pinon's Restaurant

    105 S Mill St, Aspen, CO 81611

Excellent restaurant. From beginning to end, it was a great meal. I had their New Zealand Elk (don't know why they didn't go local. maybe this is less gamy?) which was tasty. I have only gone here once, but I would recommend it if you visit Aspen.

"Mezz" is great for modern Italian with seafood. They also have a woodfired brick oven flat crust pizzas. Priced a little high for my liking but service and quality are great - local's secret - near the door they often have "day old" fresh baked bread...still great! Overall many healthy and delicious options with outdoor seating in the shade.

One of our favorite spots in Aspen. Definitely the best burgers in Aspen. Friendly service, overflowing free popcorn bowl, and cheaper prices amidst expensive Aspen restaurants. Don't miss it.

Poppycocks is one of those "in-the-know" breakfast spots. It is small and run with a skeleton crew often, but once you get a specialty waffle, crazy good smoothy, or even sip the yummy coffee you will know that it was worth the wait. They have the best applewood smoked bacon in town.

Best milkshakes in Aspen. The downstairs clothes part is very trendy and pricey, but good if you're looking for one nice pair of jeans; they have every brand you could ever ask for.

This five star hotel has a great Apres Ski BAR.... where everyone goes at the end of the day as they come off skiing from Aspen Mountain. Great place for Sunday Brunch on the pool-side terrace. Their restaurant is fine dining at it's best. Expensive though.
