Great healthy wraps at a decent price. Take out no frills. Good for the family or budget traveler.

    New York Pizza

    4 reviews

Tasty pizza by the slice. As the name would indicate, its NY style, with big slices and thin crust. This is not a fine dining establishment - you order at the counter and seat wherever you can find. But if you want something tasty, quick and cheap, this is a good bet.

    Matsuhisa - Aspen

    10 reviews

Amazing sashimi and sushi from the guys who brought you Nobu. Like Nobu, the quality is very good and the prices are high. I would highly recommend the sashimi and nigiri. The tuna and the octopus sashimi were great. The rolls we had were pretty average.

    Hickory House

    7 reviews

What an institution! The BBQ here is just out of the world. I love the sauce. The ambiance still hails back to Aspen's more working class roots. The prices do to! You can get out with a great filling meal for $12.

Jimmy's an American Restaurant & Bar

    7 reviews

Just a good old high-end steakhouse and seafood restaurant. High end, but not the most expensive in Aspen, and easier to get a table than some of Aspen's other "premier restaurants. Nothing too creative - just awesome comfort food that is expertly prepared.

    Peach's Corner Cafe

Cool little coffee shop. Order at the counter. The open face is amazing - poached eggs on bread with peach butter, heirloom tomatoes, bacon and arugula. Good coffee as well.

    Pinon's Restaurant

    5 reviews

Excellent restaurant. From beginning to end, it was a great meal. I had their New Zealand Elk (don't know why they didn't go local. maybe this is less gamy?) which was tasty. I have only gone here once, but I would recommend it if you visit Aspen.

    Caribou Club

    5 reviews

AT $10,000 per year membership, it is hard to get into the "boo", but those who have higher end tastes can find most anything they want and some interesting characters at this establishment.

    Element47 at the Little Nell

Came here for lunch. Pricey but good. Had a salad with chicken that was very tasty. Best part was the outdoor seating though. Great in summer. This place used to be called Montagna

"Mezz" is great for modern Italian with seafood. They also have a woodfired brick oven flat crust pizzas. Priced a little high for my liking but service and quality are great - local's secret - near the door they often have "day old" fresh baked bread...still great! Overall many healthy and delicious options with outdoor seating in the shade.

    Boogie's Diner

Best milkshakes in Aspen. The downstairs clothes part is very trendy and pricey, but good if you're looking for one nice pair of jeans; they have every brand you could ever ask for.

Good cappuccino place. The coffee is good. Had a chocolate croissant that was also tasty. Nice outdoor seating in summer. Service is a little slow.

My favorite restaurant in Aspen. The mushroom guyere risotto is off the hook. I prefer the bar menu.

Poppycocks is one of those "in-the-know" breakfast spots. It is small and run with a skeleton crew often, but once you get a specialty waffle, crazy good smoothy, or even sip the yummy coffee you will know that it was worth the wait. They have the best applewood smoked bacon in town.
