If you’re coming to Waikiki with family or friends, the Beach Tower will feel like a home away from home. Although it’s right on the main strip and just across the street from the beach, it’s set back between the hotels and almost goes unnoticed. The lobby and the swimming pool are both small but elegant; there’s no restaurant, but plenty within a block of the hotel. Up in the rooms—which really are condos and privately owned—everything you need is there, from a full kitchen to Bose CD/radio, flat-screen TVs, DVD player and washer/dryer. Most units are 2-bedroom layouts with a living room, dining room, 2 bathrooms and tons of storage space. Décor can vary from unit to unit but is generally contemporary and neutral-tone. Book a high floor on the east side of the building for panoramic direct ocean views from oversized double balconies.Recommended for:

This is condo living at its finest, across from Waikiki beach. The tower sets back a bit from the sidewalk, so it’s more quiet. There’s a beautiful trellised entryway, covered with flowering vines, to lead you in. A mellow and minimalist lobby with great art welcomes you, along with some of the most personable staff I’ve ever encountered. The completely updated, two-bedroom, two-bath unit was spacious with a soft, clean and contemporary design. The large, private lanai spanned the entire front of the condo with a spectacular, panoramic ocean view. Everything you need is in the unit, including a full kitchen, dining area, a washer/dryer and complimentary internet/WiFi access. A personal concierge and daily maid service are also provided. There’s a pleasant pool/area with a billiards table, jet spa and sauna. It’s like a home away from home with all the conveniences.

We loved this hotel so much we are going back there again...the staff is very nice and treat you with respect. The room views are very nice. Access to the beach is easy and the location is great. The rooms feel a little outdated but who really cares, spend your time outside and use the hotel to rest/sleep kinda like vegas...this is really close to getting 5 stars in my book..if you stay above 15th floor things are alot easier to see. but like i said, we used it as a place to rest not live.
