Set in the heart of Atlanta, the Georgia Aquarium is one of the most fantastic aquariums you'll ever see. At the start you'll be walking through a fantastic tunnel filled with schools of predatory trevally jacks, small and large stingrays, thousands of fish, and even sharks, all traveling overhead and all around you! And that's just the beginning! There are ...

    Turner Field

    40 reviews

The stadium is always very clean (I mean, for a stadium) and there's really not a bad seat in the place. You can get the classic ballpark food or nicer options at the Chop House or H&F burger stands (seriously, the burgers are piping-hot and soo good). Plan on drving and paying for parking with cash, because MARTA doesn't really ...

    Centennial Olympic Park

    39 reviews

This is a very nice city park very close to CNN Center, Georgia Aquarium, and World of Coca-Cola. This is fun to visit in the summer where you can see a live fountain show with the water dancing to music. I love watching the kids squeal with delight as they play in the fountain.

Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site

    27 reviews

There is so much history at this place. You can even visit the house that MLK Jr. lived in, and you can walk around the neighborhood too. Obviously a lot has changed over the years, but if you are into that kind of historical stuff, it's a very cool experience. At the historic center, you can even watch a video ...

    White Water Atlanta

    11 reviews

Great place to spend the day with a large group of people. Designate a meeting area but there is so much to do that everyone can do what they want to do. The lazy river is my favorite. If it storms on the day you go they normally give rain passes.
