The Fernbank Museum of Natural History, located in Druid Hills in Northeast Atlanta, is one of the nation’s largest natural history museums. One of the museum’s most popular features is its permanent ‘Giant of the Mesozoic’ display, a massive construction that towers over the museum’s great hall. The display features an Argentinosaurus battling a Giganotosaurus, two of the largest dinosaurs ever discovered. But besides that grand display, the Fernbank Museum also caters specifically to Georgia’s own rich natural history with the museum’s ‘A Walk Through Time in Georgia’ exhibit, which features a simulated walk through South Georgia’s famous Okefenokee Swamp.
