Massively overcrowded tacky property located in an inconvenient sterile development enclave. Maybe okay for families but my brief visit was pure hell. Far from relaxing or interesting.

The Atlantis Hotel is the focal point of Dubai's giant cluster of man-made isthmuses that jut out into the Persian Gulf. Even if you can't afford to stay here at this spectacular hotel, you can still go see what the decadent expat lifestyle feels like for the day by swimming with dolphins in their Dolphin Bay or by splashing about in the rivers, slides and pools of Dubai's largest water park - Aquaventure! If that don't float your inner tube, there's the Atlantis Dive Center in which you can go diving in their 11.5 million liter tank. You'll literally be swimming with the sharks this time (and sting rays, guitarfish and wrasse too even). In Atlantis, don't be surprised to find yourself feeding the rays next to a celebrity - this is one of the places they stay in Dubai.

If you have to go to Dubai this place has everything you would want in an ostentatious resort. I must say, however, I am not a big fan of Dubai. It's an ecological nightmare.
This hotel has great service. The indoors mall has good restaurants and the water park is pretty amazing. Our kids swam with the dolphins in Discovery Bay which was worth the money (if you can put aside the ethical issues with containing dolphins for the purpose of swimming with tourists in contaminated water).

Atlantis The Palm is a resort at the top tip of the Palm Jumeirah. The resort was made like the Atlantis in the Bahamas and has an underwater theme. The resort appears to be a cross between a hotel and a theme park.
I have not stayed at the hotel as a guest, however I have visited the various attractions and facilities many times. You can swim with the dolphins at Dolphin Bay, swim, float and dive at the Aquaventure water park, dine in the many restaurants such as the world renowned Nobu, and party at Nasimi Beach or Sanctuary nightclub where Ministry of Sound and other events ofter occur. The hotel is great for families, honeymooners and vacationers.

This is a hotel but in the middle east everything is centered around hotels. They have a great aquarium and next door they have a dolphin show. The lobby has an ATM that gives gold instead of cash but more relevant for most of us there are also a number of nice affordable restaurants.

Just another fancy hotel building but what amazed me is the island where this is built. Its an artificial island made from scratch. Thats pretty amazing. I think people who has money to afford will only stay here

We took the monorail along The Palm and the last time goes the Atlantis. We went inside the hotel but not the big waterpark that it host. The waterpark is pretty amazing, the fact that it's part of the hotel.
Just the outside of the hotel is amazing to see.
