This is a really beautiful and uniquely designed hotel. The hotel scream Texas and University of Texas in a very elegant and sophisticated way. The lobby and shared space areas are designed with handmade wood tables, crafted lounge chairs and sofas. The hotel rooms are strongly influenced with UT colors of burnt orange and dark finishes. As a longhorn alum- I absolutely love it. This hotel mostly attracts individuals in town for football games, recruiting and UT events. The hotel also has some incredible dining options- some of the best in town. You will love your stay here.

While the prices here might sometimes be over your corporate allowance, if you are able to get your company buy in, I would highly recommend a stay here.

I am a super fan of this convention center and the hotel itself.

Ikki-con was moved here from the Hilton Austin and the location for it is 10 times better. Its right off of Guadalupe and MLK Area. It is on UT Campus and is convenient for parents, family members, and friends to stay at if they are visiting the students or even for a company hosting a small event. Its not quite downtown but central enough that its a very short drive or bus ride to the main downtown area.

The hotel staff did a fantastic job in taking care of everyone during the time I was there for a convention. With all the people and various age groups, it can get extremely crazy and out of control. It was their first year with is and they could have not done a better job. The staff was very kind and welcoming.

I really loved the room set up that my friends had. They were in a corner room with a great view of the UT Tower. I do not believe it was an accessible room but they had a nice walk in shower! It is fantastic. Some of the rooms even have small balcony that look into the court yard! I LOVE the fact that half of the building is the hotel and the other half is the convention center. That have a beautiful courtyard area in the center that everyone took their photos at.

What I really enjoyed about this center that made it great for the type of the convention was the classrooms! When you have tons of people trying to watch and see panels/movies/meetings its difficult to see everything with people just have lined seating! The seating in here was classroom seating but elevated on each step! Its fantastic and a lot of place should do this. (Than again this is part of the UT student area!)

Its a beautiful hotel. Not to big and not to small. They do have several smaller restaurants and a bar as well as a coffee bar. The staff is great and very accommodating.

Nice mix between business hotel and fun spot to see the city-- and so new it feels like the wrapping just came off. The hotel and conference center are separated by a courtyard and located right at the south end of the UT campus. I was here for the Texas Nonprofits conference in the fall, and the meeting rooms featured great smart classroom technology without losing the luxury hotel atmosphere-- great conference center experience without feeling institutional and impersonal.

Located on the south side of the UT campus, the AT&T Education and Conference center offers luxury hotel amenities and full conference center facilities, including intimate meeting rooms with arena seating smart classroom technology. Guest benefits include access to the UT pool and gym facilities, in addition to the fitness room and pool on site. Restaurants include both fine dining options, as well as casual fare. Rooms look out toward the UT Tower or the Texas State Capitol. Service is amenable toward stays for both business and pleasure.
